DAY 8 - Saturday, August 27, 2022 - At Sea Today is another cruising day. We slept in but were up early enough to go to the dining room. I am certainly spoiled by not having to cook and these big breakfasts. We sat and read for a while just enjoying the views. Ron went to a beer tasting at 1 and I went back to the room to pack my suitcase. We have to have them out in the hall by midnight and we leave for the train at 7:15 tomorrow. Later we went for hot chocolate and a snack at Lido since we didn't do lunch. We got dressed for dinner and then they announced that we were approaching College Fjord. Amazing how close this big boat gets to the Fjords and coastline of the inner passage.  It was a big boat (9stories) but only 1500 people so it was never crowded.  And with 700+ wait staff every whim was satisfied. We rushed outside to get some beautiful pictures of the fjord. We had our last dinner in the dining room. I had sushi, Ron had crab cakes while I had prime rib and he had h...

DAY 7 - Friday, August 26, 2022 - At Sea It's a cruising day so we slept in and went to Lido at 9:30 to eat breakfast. We were lucky enough to get a window seat and were able to see the Margarie Glacier as we cruised Glacier Bay. The scenery is breathtaking and we spent a lot of the day watching it. We walked the observation deck and saw sea lions. We drank Prosecco and hot chocolate with Baileys on the Lido deck and could see the whales spouting in the distance. Went back to our cabin and read. Tonight is a gala night so we'll need to dress up. Had another delicious dinner. I had shrimp cocktail, escargot and we both had the duck breast. The food has really been spot on and the service impeccable. Zega, our server has been awesome. After dinner we listened to our piano players again. They are an enjoyable way to end the day.                                    Views from the Noordam Margarie Glacie...

Day 6 - Thursday, August 25, 2022 - Skagway Ship arrived in Skagway at 7 but we didn't have our excursion until 11:30 so we had a leisurely morning. Ate breakfast and then dressed in our rain gear to be ready for the day. We have clearly lucked out with the weather. It was supposed to be rainy and although it sprinkled briefly, the rest of the day was great as it was the previous 2 days. We walked from the ship downtown and found our tour stop. Dennis told us we could have a free upgrade to a slightly longer tour and we agreed. We were early so walked around a bit until it was time to take the bus up to White Pass Summit. It was a pretty ride and the fog lifted so we could see the scenery. We had to pass through Canadian customs as this was part of British Columbia. We even went as far as the entrance to the Yukon territory. Got back at 2 and did some window shopping and bought an ice cream. On our way to the ship we ran into Tom and Lorraine who said there was a line to get on the...
